Last.fm

Your own API key, Last.fm login, and every Last.fm command.

1. Add your own API key

Every user runs Last.fm commands on their own free key. Create one at last.fm/api/account/create (set the callback URL to this site's /lastfm/callback), then paste the key and shared secret under Settings → Last.fm. Yapper doesn't send bots DMs, so keys only go in on the website. Never post them in chat.

2. Log in

,lf login DMs you a link. Approving NotGreed on Last.fm verifies the account is yours and lets you love tracks. Just want to show scrobbles? ,lf set (username) is enough.

Album covers and artist pictures come straight from Last.fm. Yapper doesn't allow Last.fm's image server inside embeds, so the picture shows under the message instead. Image charts aren't possible because bots can't upload files.
