Getting started
Add NotGreed to your server and set it up in a few minutes.
1. Add the bot
On Yapper, bots are added from the server: open Server Settings → Bots, find NotGreed under Community bots and add it.
2. Give it permissions
NotGreed acts through its role. Give that role the Yapper permissions for what you want it to do: Ban, Kick, Timeout, Manage roles, Manage channels, Manage messages, Manage nicknames and Move members. Put its role above the roles it should manage.
3. Decide who can use what
Yapper doesn't tell bots which permissions your roles have, so NotGreed keeps its own list. The server owner can do everything. Grant your staff roles what they need:
,fakepermissions add @Mods ban_members kick_members moderate_members manage_messages ,fakepermissions add @Admins administrator
Roles with administrator or manage_guild can also open the dashboard. See Permissions.
4. Open the dashboard
Send /login in any server with NotGreed. It DMs you a code: type it on the login page, then press Accept in the DM NotGreed sends next. Or run ,dashboard and NotGreed DMs you a one-time link.
Prefixes
The default prefix is ,. Change it with ,prefix set ?. Everyone can also use /, ! or mention the bot, and set a personal prefix with ,prefix self ;.
